Peter Benjamin Graham is a significant Australian artist who is about to receive some long over due recognition in the form of a major exhibition in an Australian Regional Gallery.

His 1946 painting 'Peter Lawlor Addressing the Miners' recently featured in a major Australian traveling exhibition celebrating the 150 anniversary of the Eureka Stockade and a follow up documentary

Let's admit, this guy is a complete unknown. Nevertheless, his paintings, as illustrated, are pretty. Quite possibly he's the Gerard Manley Hopkins of Australian art. Or possibly not. But leave him, it's a nice article, and he's a nice artist. PiCo 14:32, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
