Petushki (Russian: Петушки́) is a town and the administrative centre of Petushinsky District of Vladimir Oblast, Russia, located on the left bank of the Klyazma River, 67 kilometers (42 mi) west of Vladimir on the MoscowNizhny Novgorod railway and motorway. Population: 16,482 (2002 Census);[1] 20,144 (1989 Census).[2]

It was established as a settlement near the railway station of Petushki, which was opened in 1861. It was granted town status in 1965.
