Pettin' in the Park

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pettin’ In The Park was released on 27 January 1934 by Warner Bros. Studio. It was animated by Jack King and Bob Clampett (1913–1984). The musical score was by Norman Spencer. It was a Merrie Melodies cartoon.

The source of the song which begins the cartoon is a Busby Berkeley movie called Gold Diggers of 1933. The first part of the cartoon has to do with the song itself, and someone loving another person of the opposite gender. The second part has to do with different birds in a swimming contest in the public park pond.
