Petter Vaagan Moen is a Norwegian footballer, most of the time playing left winger. He was transferred to S.K. Brann from Ham-Kam on November 1 2005, costing Brann approximately 10.000.000 NOK (£ 870.000, €1.290.000, $1.510.000). Vaagan Moen has 44 national junior caps (16 caps and 1 goal for Norway's U21 national team which he captained from autumn 2005 until 2006). His contract expires in 2010.

Vaagan Moen started his career in Ham-Kam and helped the club to promotion to the Tippeliga in 2003. Vaagan Moen's great crosses and free-kicks got him noticed by the big clubs in Norway, and he was though upon as one of the biggest talent in Norwegian football. In 2005, Vaagan Moen signed with SK Brann in one of the biggest transfers in Brann's history. The winger quickly established himself as a regular on the first team, and was an important contribution to Brann's great play in the first half in the season. He also got his debut on the national football team.
