Petter Steen jr.

Petter Steen jr. (born August 1, 1962) is a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party and mayor of Haugesund since 2001.

Steen was educated at Stavanger Teacher College (1986) after which he worked in the public schools in Sveio until he was elected mayor in 2001. He was one of the eight mayors who fronted the exploited municipalities in the Terra Securities scandal in 2007.
