Petsense is a chain retail outlet store found in outlet malls and rural markets across the United States. The store specializes in pet supplies, but does not sell live animals. Corporate headquarters are located in Scottsdale, Arizona. Petsense is one of the only pet supply store in the United States found in retail outlet malls.

The chain was founded by Jim Dougherty, founder of Petsmart in 2005. To date Petsense has opened 17 stores, and closed 1 of those stores. The first Petsense store opened in October of 2005 in Castle Rock, Colorado. The most recent store opened in Clovis, New Mexico, in April of 2008. Petsense now operates stores in Alabama, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Georgia, Oregon, South Carolina, Texas, and New Mexico.
In October of 2006, Petsense expanded to the internet with the launch of it's retail site. The site is currently under development and is planned to re-launch in 2009.

Petsense carries many of the name brand products you would find in any other pet store, plus many unique products that are almost entirely exclusive to Petsense. In most markets, Petsense carries dog and cat; toys, treats, training products, beds, litter, and food.
