Petrovac (Serbian Cyrillic: Петровац) or Petrovac na Mlavi (Serbian Cyrillic: Петровац на Млави,Romanian : Piatra Mlavi) is a town and municipality located in the Braničevo District of Serbia. In 2002, the population of the town was 7,851, while population of the municipality was 34,511. According to the 2002 census, ethnic groups in the Petrovac municipality include 29,277 Serbs, 3,535 Vlachs, 265 Yugoslavs, 251 Romanians, and others.
