Petros Efthimiou

Petros Efthimiou (Greek: Πέτρος Ευθυμίου) (born March 27, 1950 in Larisa) is a former Greek Minister for National Education and Religious Affairs. He is a member of the Greek Parliament for the Panhellenic Socialist Movement for the Athina B constituency.
Eftimiou was elected MP with PASOK in the general elections of 2004 and 2007. In 1999 he was elected MEP, a position that he resigned from in 2000 in order to be Minister for National Education.
