Petit-serif

Petit-serifs are small (petit is French for "small") serifs, which are attached to regular sans-serif fonts.^{[citation needed]}

An example of this is Johnston.^{[citation needed]} Petit-serifs were added to this font, but Frank Pick chose to stay with the original design (later modified).^{[citation needed]}
