Peterson dos Santos Peçanha (born 11 January 1980 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a Brazilian goalkeeper currently playing for the Portuguese team F.C. Paços de Ferreira.

He began his football career with Brazilian Giants Flamengo but did not make any appearances. In 2001, after not making any appearances with brazilian giants Flamengo he went to Bangu but did not make an impact and moved on to America RJ in the 2001-2002. In the next three years he had three clubs Novo Horizonte FC in the 2002/03 season,Paui FC in the 2003/04 and Sao Raimundo in the 2004/05 season. In 2005, he was bought by Portuguese team F.C. Paços de Ferreira. Peçanha started off as the number two goalkeeper at F.C. Paços de Ferreira behind Pedro and after great team performances he became the number one goalkeeper and made his best season ever by his team reaching the Uefa Cup and best ever finish in the league 6th in the 2006/07 season. After great performances in the 2006/07 seasopn he was linked with a big move to Portuguese Giants FC Porto. He made his debut for F.C. Paços de Ferreira against Nacional in a 1-0 loss on the 21 August 2005 were he played the full 90 minutes, Peçanha currently wears the number 24 shirt.
