Peter von Biron

Peter von Biron (15 February 1724–13 January 1800) was the last Duke of Courland, from 1769 to 1795. (See Duchy of Courland and Semigallia.)

In 1795 the Duchy ceased to exist and its territory became part of the Russian Empire.
