Peter van Onselen

Peter van Onselen (born 1976) is a politics lecturer at Edith Cowan University in Perth, Western Australia. He is a regular contributor to newspapers such as The Australian, The Canberra Times, The Courier-Mail and The Sydney Morning Herald. His academic research focuses on Australian politics.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts with First Class Honours in Political Science and a Masters in Policy Studies, both from the University of New South Wales. Dr van Onselen was awarded his PhD in political science from the University of Western Australia.
