Peter Vlahakis (b. January 20, 1982 in Shoreham, New York) is a professional lacrosse player with the Long Island Lizards of Major League Lacrosse. Vlahakis is the top face-off man in the MLL holding the top face-off percentage in MLL history. He was selected to participate in the 2007 MLL All-Star Game.[1]

Vlahakis was drafted in the 4st round of the 2004 Major League Lacrosse Collegiate Draft by the New Jersey Pride.

Vlahakis attended Fairfield University where he was ranked seventh in the nation with a face-off win percentage of .633 in 2003 and was ranked as one of the top-10 face-off men in the NCAA in each of his four seasons with the Stags. Vlahakis was a two-time All-New England selection and pre-season All-American in 2002.[2].

Peter's father is Bob Vlahakis, the producer and innovator of the annual Face-Off Yearbook covering college lacrosse since 1994 and a current Senior Editor of the Inside Lacrosse Magazine.
