Peter Reynolds is a composer known for co-founding Ixion New Music Ensemble. In addition, he is recognized by Guinness World Records as having written the shortest opera on Earth, Sands of Time; a three minute and thirty-four second long piece. [1] Born in 1958, he studied in Cardiff, Wales and currently lives in South Wales, working as the artistic director of the Lower Machen Festival in Monmouthshire.
