Peter O'Fallon is an American director, producer and writer for commercial, television and film productions.

O'Fallon grew up in Denver, Colorado and graduated from the University of Colorado at Boulder with a degree in Film Studies. He began his career in the industry by making small T.V. spots for local radio stations, funded and created completely on his own. The success of these small commercials allowed him to relocate to Chicago and co-found one of the most prolific production companies in Chicago at that time.

Peter has directed over two thousand commercials and has won multiple awards for his work including Clio Awards, DNAD's and Golden Pencil Awards. After moving from Chicago to Los Angeles, O'Fallon began his career in television with the hit series thirtysomething. With thirtysomething he directed a ground breaking portrayal of a homosexual relationship which culminated with the first homosexual kiss ever on television. His television directing career continued with Northern Exposure, Party of Five, Profiler, Odd Jobs with Patrick Dempsey, and American Gothic - A cult hit made popular by O'Fallon's pilot.

In this time period he also served as executive producer along with his directing credit for Party of Five and Odd Jobs. Shortly after his success with the aforementioned series, O'Fallon directed another cult hit with the feature film Suicide Kings, staring Christopher Walken and Denis Leary. He went on to create the series Mysterious Ways while continually writing the script for A Rumor of Angels which was eventually produced in 2000 with O'Fallon as director.

Following A Rumor of Angels, O'Fallon dove back into television with shows that include but are not limited to Las Vegas, Prison Break, House, Ghost Whisperer, Summerland, Eureka, Pushing Daisies, and most recently The Riches with Eddie Izzard and Minnie Driver. This was the twelfth pilot that O'Fallon has directed and he continues to direct and executive produce this new series on FX. Peter lives in Los Angeles with his wife and two children.
