Peter Maddocks, born in Birmingham on 1 April 1928, is a noted British cartoonist. In 1939 he won a scholarship to the Moseley School of Art in Birmingham.
Maddocks has contributed to many of the UK's leading Daily and Sunday national papers with cartoon series such as ‘Four D. Jones’ at the Daily Express in the late 50's and early 60's.
He has also created animated films for the BBC including The Family Ness, Penny Crayon and Jimbo and the Jet Set.
