Peter Lavelle

Peter Lavelle is host of IMHO, a television program of the Russia based, English language satellite channel Russia Today TV. and an anchor of the reports series In Context. Lavelle is the network's key political commentator.[1]
IMHO is broadcast on Russia Today every Sunday, and provides political analysis on both domestic issues and issues pertinent to Russia and its geopolitical interests.
Russia Today is owned and operated by the government of Russia, and Lavelle has been criticized (for instance on the La Russophobe blog) for putting forth factual analysis that is biased in the Russian government's favor.
Lavelle did his doctoral studies in European economic history from the University of California, Davis (1992-1995). He has been living in East Europe and Russia for over 25 years.
