Peter Koech (born February 18, 1958) is a former long-distance runner from Kenya who won the silver medal in 3,000 meters steeplechase at the 1988 Summer Olympics. He held the world record in this event for some time, running 8:05.39 in 1989.
He is from Arwos, Nandi District. He now live in Albuquerque, New Mexico with his wife and 3 children in a house.
