Peter James Smith (born 20 February 1971) is an American actor.
Smith was born in Taipei, Taiwan of Chinese, Mexican and Irish descent. He is most widely known for his role on the TV program The West Wing as Ed, a White House Staffer who is usually seen with Larry.
