Peter Howitt

Peter Howitt (born May 5, 1957 in Manchester) is an English actor and film director.
He first found success playing Joey Boswell in the British TV series Bread. In 1998 he wrote and directed his first film, Sliding Doors (1998). Since then he has directed several films, including AntiTrust (2001), Johnny English (2003) and Laws of Attraction (2004). His latest film Dangerous Parking (2007) which he adapted from the novel by Stuart Browne, produced, directed and stars in will be released in 2008.
