Peter Guidi (born 1949) is a jazz saxophonist and jazz flautist whose main instruments are flute, alto and bass flute, alto and soprano saxophone. Born in Scotland of Italian parents Peter Guidi grew up on Jersey and is a self-taught musician. He began his musical career in Italy where he went on to play with many leading jazz musicians and performed in major Jazz Festivals including Umbria Jazz, the Aosta Jazz Festival, the Jazz Festival of Pescara and the Ivrea Jazz Festival. He is now head of the jazz department of the Amsterdam Muziekschool and leads several bands for children and young people, including the Junior Swing, Jazz Juniors, Jazz Generation, Jazz Focus and Jazz Mania Big Band. He is also author of a teaching method: The Jazz Flute.
