Peter Fanucchi is a Californian winegrower in the Russian River Valley AVA. His winery, Fanucchi Vineyards began on a plot of land bought by his father in 1972. Already planted with old vine Zinfandel, Fanucchi's father originally wanted to pull it out but Fanucchi retrained the vines and began producing White Zinfandel for several years. In 1994, he opened up his own commercial winery and began producing red Zinfandel wine.[1] He also produces white wine made the Trousseau Gris grape.[2]
