Peter Dzubay (born January 6, 1984 in Sylvania, Ohio) is an American soccer player who last played as a league-wide reserve keeper in Major League Soccer, having been temporarily counted a part of the rosters of the Chicago Fire and the Colorado Rapids, among other teams, at various times.
Dzubay played college soccer at the University of Michigan from 2002 to 2005 where he appeared in 70 games recording a 36-24-5 record. He holds numerous records at Michigan, such as career saves (298), career wins (36), career shutouts (19), and career GAA (1.21). He was voted to the 2005 All Big Ten Second Team.
Having played for Detroit Arsenal in the National Premier Soccer League he was originally drafted in the second round, 17th overall, by the MetroStars in the 2006 MLS Supplemental Draft, but did not make the team. He is part of the league's pool of reserve goalkeepers and was called up after Colorado's Joe Cannon was injured in May 2006.
