Peter Day (chemist)

Professor Peter Day (b. 20 Aug 1938) is a distinguished British inorganic chemist. Was a graduate student at Wadham College, Oxford, of which he is now an Honorary Fellow. He was elected to the Royal Society in 1986. He held the post of Director of the Royal Institution from 1991 to 1998. Day was also director of the Royal Institution's Davy Faraday Research Laboratory and a Fullerian Professor of Chemistry.
