Peter Cambor (born September 28, 1978)[1][2][3] is an American film and television actor. Since 2006, he has appeared on the sitcom Notes from the Underbelly (ABC Television network),[1][2][3] although the premiere of the show was delayed until April 2007.[4]

In 2002, Peter Cambor starred in the film Up to the Roof and also in The J2 Project.[1] In 2007, he later appeared in one episode of the TV series Numb3rs.

Peter Cambor was born September 28, 1978, in Houston, Texas.[1][2][3] [2] He studied at Deerfield Academy, where the curriculum required him to take an arts class: his mother suggested that he take an acting class,[3] and he began formal studies to become an actor. Cambor acted both in high school and later in college productions[3] at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, where he earn a BA degree in English in 2001.[2] After further studies, Peter Cambor received an MFA from the American Repertory Theatre's Institute for Advanced Theatre Training at Harvard University, Cambridge, MA (MFA in Acting, 2005).[2]
After working a while in New York, he moved to the West Coast.[2]
In 2002, Cambor starred in Up to the Roof in the role of "Alexander" and in The J2 Project as J2.[1] Five years later, after finishing his post-graduate degree at Harvard, in 2007, he also appeared in one episode of the TV series Numb3rs (in the character of "Logan Oliver").[1] In June/July 2005, Peter Cambor had appeared as Schubal/Bess/Policeman, acting in the Gideon Lester play "Amerika or the Disappearance" based on the book by Franz Kafka, as a production of the American Repertory Theatre at the Loeb Drama Center, in Cambridge, Massachusetts.[1]
Peter Cambor landed the lead as an expectant father on Notes from the Underbelly after the sitcom's creator had caught his performance in a Los Angeles production of The Cherry Orchard, opposite veteran actors Annette Bening and Alfred Molina.[2] For 3 years, Peter Cambor has played the role of the expectant father, starring opposite Jennifer Westfeldt, in Notes from the Underbelly (on the ABC Television network).[2]
