Peter Burrell (1692-1756)

Peter Burrell (1692 – 16 April 1756) was a British politician.
The son of Peter Burrell and Isabella Merrik, he was sub-governor of the South Sea Company. Burrell was also Member of Parliament (MP) for Haslemere from 1722 to 1754 and for Dover from 1755 to 1756.
On 14 March 1723, he married Amy Raymond, daughter of Hugh Raymond. They had three children:
- Amelia Burrell, married Tobias Frere
- Peter Burrell (1724–1775)
- Sir William Burrell, 2nd Baronet (1732–1796)
