Peter Burling is a Democratic member of the New Hampshire Senate, representing the 5th District since 2006. Previously he was a member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives from 1988 through 1994, and 1996 through 2004.
Burling announced in May 2008 he will not be running for the Senate in 2008. However, he will serve as a member of the Democratic National Committee, as he was recently elected to a four-year term.[1]
