Peter Barron is the editor of Newsnight, a British daily news analysis, current affairs and politics programme broadcast between 22.30 and 23.20 on weekdays on BBC Two.[1]
A proponent of investigative journalism, he and his team recently broke the story uncovering a potential breach in FIFA regulations between Arsenal Football Club and KSK Beveren. FIFA and the FA later cleared the club of any wrong doing.
According to The Media Guardian website, he was born in Belfast, is a Spurs fan and plays guitar in a band with Krishnan Guru-Murthy of Channel 4 News.
