Peter Aldis

Peter Aldis (born 11 April 1927) was a footballer who played over 250 games for Aston Villa. Aldis joined Villa from Hay Green in 1948 and left in 1960 to Hinckley Athletic. Against Sunderland, when he headed in from a record distance of 32 metres, he scored the only goal of his career! [Aston Villa, 1952]
