Peter's Brook
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Peter's Brook is a small creek that flows south through central New Jersey and flows into the Raritan River. It runs through, although not limited to, Bridgewater Township, New Jersey and Somerville, New Jersey.
It is notable for having high phosphate levels and flooding so much as to take away from the surrounding landscape. Flooding is considered a major problem with Peter's Brook. A large amount of stormwater is deposited into Peter's Brook.
Peter's Brook runs near Bridgewater High School and Immaculata High School.
There is also a gravel path which runs parallel to it in Somerville which is about 1.5 miles long.
