[edit] Biography

Originally from Portland, Oregon, Pete Miser has been b-boying, bombing, backspinning and battling since hip hop first took seed in the Northwest. As lead vocalist in the live hip-hop band 5 Fingers of Funk, he helped bring hip hop out of hiding in his hometown and into the limelight.

After six years with the Fingers, Pete moved to New York City to explore hip-hop in its birthplace. In 1999 Arista artist, Dido recruited him as the dj in her live band. With Dido, Pete toured the world, appeared on numerous television shows.

While most independent artists focus on touring to make the money Pete Miser works other angles with the sharpness of a professional.

In past years Pete Miser was also a featured in the final Top 6 of the MTV2 Dew Circuit Breakout. With this national exposure Pete Miser has sky rocketed even further up the underground Hip Hop world.

Pete's music has been featured in numerous major motion pictures including but not limited to "The Night listener", "TATS Cru: The Mural Kings" & the ESPN smash documentary "Through The Fire", not to mention three exclusive Bacardi commercials featuring his song "Only For Today".

As of early 2008, Pete Miser is a YouTube mastermaker with his short, corky and extremely creative song "Hit Me On My iPhone".

He produced and is featured in Jin's song "Open Letter to Obama".
