Pesarattu

Pesarattu is an Indian snack popular in Andhra Pradesh. It is type of a Dosa, another popular South Indian snack.

It is called as a attu prepared from pesaralu or mung bean called as moong dal in Hindi.

This is special snack from Andhra cuisine.

The variations include a) making from soaked whole mung beans, which gives a greenish hue to the Pesarattu, and, b) making with yellow coloured Pesaralu, made from peeled mung beans, which gives a fine golden yellow tint to the dosa when roasted. Both these forms are famous in Andhra Pradesh, and are typically served with chutney made from ginger and tamarind.
