In case you were still wondering why you can't add mention of Zoroastrian influences to the LOTR page, the reason is the prohibition on original research, specifically synthesis of sourced facts. That is to say, even if we agree that A=>B, and B=>C, that does not allow us to say that A=>C, except in actual, mathematical/logical contexts. There's also a common (but not universal) consideration that if no source has made that connection, the it's probably not worth mentioning. Someguy1221 (talk) 19:56, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
