The Quantum Mind article was created as a stop gap after a plagiarism problem with the main article. It is not an article on OR as such, although clearly there is an overlap in the subject matter.

Since the main Quantum Mind article has been rewritten, I have attempted to remove the whole of the Temp article but this has been repeatedly foiled by your systems. Contrary to your claim that the Temp article has been vandalised it is in fact impossible to remove anything at all.

Clear instructions on how to do this would have saved us both time and effort. Persephone19 20:48, 25 November 2006 (UTC)

  • You cannot delete any article, even if you have created it youself; if you have created it by a mistake or otherwise have a valid reason to delete it, you can mark it for deletion by adding {{db-author}} to it. - Mike Rosoft 15:27, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Quantum consciousness and ion channels

The phrase "quantum consciousness" has caused me to (probably incorrectly) believe that the article is a piece of pseudoscience. That said, it reads like a research paper and not like an encyclopedic article. Please see the relevant policies an guidelines: What Wikipedia is not, original research (that falls outside the scope of Wikipedia), and the manual of style.

Since you dispute the proposed deletion, I have nominated the article for a full discussion/vote at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Quantum consciousness and ion channels; feel free to comment there.

  • Persephone19, You can see my comments at the article's AfD, and there's no reason that you should just sit back while others attack your article based on complete and total ignorance, or as I stated in the AfD, those from the "anything I never heard of is pseudoscience", a rather large school of thought. In addition to the difficult to understand nature of the article, and the contentious nature of the theory (even among those who are acquainted with the subject), the lack of references in Wikipedia format only aggravates the blatantly false assumption that the article is unreferenced. I have started putting sources into the ref format used elsewhere in Wikipedia, and you can try to follow along with some of the changes. Welcome aboard to Wikipedia, and I hope that the level of ignorance shown here is not indicative of your future experience here. Alansohn 21:19, 2 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Implicate order in Quantum Mind

You addition of material on Bohm and co is welcome, but I cannot see why you have started a completely new section. doesn't it belong under "Examples" ? 1Z 11:36, 5 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Deletion of Quantum consciousness and ion channels (copied from here)

Could you explain the reason for deleting Quantum Consciousness and Ion Channels. Persephone19 16:07, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

Consensus was clear in that the article was original research. Pete.Hurd's discussion about how the cited references did not support the text was persuasive. You even agreed that expansion of Quantum mind may be the best answer. I would be happy to post a copy of the article into your user space. Wikipedia:WikiProject Pseudoscience and/or User:Christopher Thomas may be interested in the topic. If you enter "Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Pseudoscience" at Wikipedia stats, you can get a list of others who may be interested in the topic. I would suggest contacting some of them directly on their talk page in addition to posting at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Pseudoscience. In addition, you may follow the Steps to list a new deletion review to challenge my delete close of the article. -- Jreferee t/c 17:12, 10 October 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Quantum mind sources

Hi! I've fixed up the citations list on Quantum mind to use the ref tags. Please read Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to use the citations system built in to wikipedia. You should never be manually numbering citations. fraggle (talk) 21:26, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
