I am living in Vancouver, Canada right now, going to university at UBC. I have added information mostly to history articles, primarily about Canada, Denmark, and Korea, but also various other places I have studied or travelled to.

I think that flag use is getting out of hand on wikipedia. See: WP:FLAG. It can be cute, and sometimes relevant, but do we really need to flag every person's nationality every time they're listed? I think that it elevates nationality to an importance that it doesn't really have, and often oversimplifies and gives in to a sometimes problematic tribalism that doesn't belong in an encyclopedia.

Here's a good yarn: Wager between John Pierpoint Morgan and Hugh Cecil Lowther, 5th Earl of Lonsdale on whether a man could walk round the world and remain unidentified

I enjoyed this quote from the Salvador Dali article:

"When he fell into the circle of mostly Marxist surrealists who denounced as enemies the monarchists on one hand and the anarchists on the other, Dalí explained to them that he personally was an anarcho-monarchist."
