[edit] Merge
Peruvian visual arts should be merged into this larger, established article covering the history of Peruvian art - AKeen 21:22, 9 May 2007 (UTC)
- Why?????? I don't like the idea, size doesn't matter.--Andersmusician $ 22:41, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Clarification
I just made some large edits to the article - I changed the centuries to English conventions (which use Arabic numerals, while Spanish ones use Roman numerals), and I also unlinked the dates in keeping with Wikipedia policy. I also took out a few sentences where I was totally unclear as to the meaning. Could I get some clarification on these:
"The arrival of the Spaniards moved, not without violence, the native artistic conceptions, although in many cases, it made some enriching mestizations too."
"The artistic crossbreeding was more intense in the pictorial creation. This crossbreeding gathered, without ambages, the native heritage and materialized, without incisions, the historical continuity."
