why is the axis ratio defined as rho in the top part of the article, and never appears again later on? it seems to get replaced by p later on. is this a notation mistake? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 18.79.4.203 (talk • contribs) 17:00, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Oops! Yes, that would be T.S. (Titanic Stupidity^TM) on my part — I was probably waffling about what symbol I wanted to use, and lost track as I was writing.
