Hi

I see the race on the Isle of Man has been described as becoming the Manx Trophy. Are you sure? I thought the one-lap race of the TT circuit became the Mannin Veg. Wasn't the two-lap race the Viking Trophy and the three-lap the International?

I thought the Manx Trophy was the professional race over a far smaller circuit - about 10km - which had a name I think started with a C. 90.11.87.162 13:19, 9 November 2007 (UTC)les woodland

Maybe you could ask that question at Talk:Manx Trophy. Regards, SeveroTC 13:54, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes, thanks, Severo. I've already asked the same question there but nobody has answered it. I could spend a long time searching but I wondered if whoever made the change was confident about it. 90.11.87.162 14:33, 9 November 2007 (UTC) les woodland

Cool, hadn't noticed. Regards, SeveroTC 14:58, 9 November 2007 (UTC)

Yes... the race was the Manx Premier and it was held on the Clypse circuit, which didn't involve Snaefell. I'm going to change the change in the story. They were quite different races. 86.207.173.249 18:27, 9 November 2007 (UTC) les woodland
