The Peruvian Sheartail (Thaumastura cora) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is found in Chile, Peru, and possibly Ecuador. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry shrubland, subtropical or tropical moist shrubland, subtropical or tropical high-altitude shrubland, and heavily degraded former forest.
