Peru Top 100

The Perú Top 100 
is a weekly-compiled musical chart that shows the top 100 songs in airplay and sales in Peru. The chart was first compiled in 2003.
The chart favors national and Latin American artists, although many international artists reach top spots as well. Songs that fair well in this chart usually have a bigger chance in meeting success in Latin America.
To date, the chart has had lots of number ones, to date the single that spent more time on this chart was Cuando Pienses en Volver by Pedro Suarez Vertiz, the single spent 54 weeks on the chart.
The chart has a lot of variety, by now the most important genre is Reggaeton, also you can find Pop, Latin music, Rock and Peruvian traditional music.
The current number one for the whole year 2007 is "Loco por Volverte a Ver" by Chili Fernandez.
