Persis Drell

Persis Drell is an American physicist best known for her expertise in the field of particle physics. She is the director of the Stanford Linear Accelerator Center (SLAC). As research director, she has overseen the BaBar experiment. Before coming to Stanford, she was a professor at Cornell University from 1988-2002.
Persis Drell is the daughter of noted physicist Sidney Drell.
