Perparim Hetemaj (born December 12, 1986 in Srbica) is a Finnish international football player of Albanian descent who currently plays as a midfielder for Apollon Kalamarias F.C. in the Greek Super League on loan from AEK Athens F.C.. He is a big brother of Mehmet Hetemaj .

[edit] Club career

He started his career with HJK Helsinki's reserve team Klubi-04, but soon made it to the first team making his Veikkausliiga debut in 2005.

He joined AEK Athens F.C. in the summer of 2006 for a fee of €450K. He instantly became an important member of the team, having played seven league and one cup match. He also appeared in four Champions League matches. Hetemaj's season ended in an abrupt manner in February 2007, when he suffered a fractured leg after a violent tackle by Kevin Thomson during a match between Finnish and Scottish national B sides.

On January 29, 2008 he was loaned to Apollon Kalamarias until the end of the season.
