"Pero Me Acuerdo De Tí" (English: "But I Remember You") is the first single from Christina Aguilera's debut Spanish album, Mi Reflejo, written and produced by Rudy Perez. Released in 2000, the single did not chart on the Billboard Hot 100 as it was in Spanish, and Latin tracks do not tend to chart on the Hot 100. Of much debate is whether the song is truly the first single of the album, as "Genio Atrapado", "Por Siempre Tú", and "Ven Conmigo (Solamente Tú)", which are found on the album, had been released prior. Nevertheless, those singles are Spanish versions of previous hit singles that were released before Mi Reflejo had been created. The single is most known for being Aguilera's first original (not a Spanish version of an English hit) Latin music single.
