"Perfect Insanity" is a single by rock band Disturbed from their fourth studio album Indestructible, which was released on June 3, 2008. On February 26, 2008, the track was released through the band's MySpace and on their official website for free download, as a promotional teaser for the new album.[1] The track was later released through digital download puchasing on the iTunes Music Store and Amazon.com on May 6, 2008. The song was originally written by vocalist David Draiman and was previously released on the band's home documentary, M.O.L., as a demo track, before they were signed. They re-recorded the song in 2007 and it has been released on Indestructible.[2] The song, along with the tracks "Indestructible" and "Inside the Fire", were released as downloadable tracks for the video game Rock Band on June 3, 2008.

[edit] Music Video

No music video has been released for the re-recorded version of this song; however, on the band's home documentary, M.O.L., they revealed an old music video, made in 1998. The video depicts vocalist David Draiman, locked in a room in a straitjacket, as he is trying to break free. The video shows the band playing variously on a stage, in between clips of Draiman trying to escape from the straitjacket. At the end of the video, the camera focuses on a graveyard, implying Draiman had died insane.
