Percy Kahn

Percy Kahn (1880 - 1966) - composer and pianist. His most noted composition was his Ave Maria which Enrico Caruso recorded, with obbligato by violinist Mischa Elman, and Kahn at the piano.

Kahn accompanied some of the great musicians of the day, including recordings with violinist, Mischa Elman; sopranos Luisa Tetrazzini, Florence Austral, Oda Slobodskaya, tenors Enrico Caruso,John McCormack, Richard Tauber, Joseph Hislopand Beniamino Gigli; and baritones Titta Ruffo and John Brownlee (baritone) (colleague of Nellie Melba).
