Perceptive Software is a privately held software development company headquartered in Shawnee, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City, with an additional office in Bracknell, a town outside of London. Its flagship product, ImageNow, is an enterprise content management solution.
In 1995 Perceptive Software began developing the ImageNow suite, and the market's demand for the solution has fueled the company's growth, transforming what once was a tech start-up to an organization with more than 500 employees. During the past four consecutive years, from 2003 to 2007, the company has been named one of Kansas City's Best Places to Work by the Kansas City Business Journal [1]. Perceptive Software also recently entered into a partnership with Kansas City's new Sprint Center to sponsor the "Perceptive Software Founder's Club," the venue's VIP Lounge [2].
ImageNow is an enterprise content management software that includes document management, document imaging and workflow solutions. The company’s patented LearnMode technology is designed to non-programmatically integrate with a business' existing departmental or enterprise-wide processes.
Perceptive Software's customer base draws heavily from the higher education, health care, financial services and public sector industries[3], among others. Notable customers include California Institute of Technology, Citigroup, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, PepsiCo International, Dick's Sporting Goods and Avis Europe[4].
