Per Erik Monsen

Per Erik Monsen (born 18 April 1946 in Sandefjord, died 16 February 2008) was a Norwegian politician for the Progress Party.
He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Vestfold in 1997, and was re-elected on one occasion.
Monsen was a member of the executive committee of Sandefjord city council from 1987 to 1997, serving as deputy mayor in 1990–1991, 1991–1994 and 1995–1997. He chaired the local party chapter from 1994 to 1997. In 2007 he was again elected to the city council.[1]
Monsen died at the age of 61, in February 2008, having suffered from a myocardial infarction three weeks earlier.[2]
