Perlite (volcanic glass with white powder appearance)

Perlite is a volcanic glass that has many industrial applications, because of its light density and insulating properties.

I found the picture on [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:PerliteUSGOV.jpg the English language wikipedia.

It was uploaded there by w:en:User:Chris 73.

I intend to use it on the Dutch language wikipedia. Johan Lont 11:53, 1 Feb 2005 (UTC)
