[edit] Speedy deletion proposal of Peopleahead
A tag has been placed on Peopleahead, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising that only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the general criteria for speedy deletion, particularly item 11, as well as the guidelines on spam.
If you can indicate why the subject of this article is not blatant advertising, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please add {{hangon}} on the top of Peopleahead and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would help make it encyclopedic, as well as adding any citations from reliable sources to ensure that the article will be verifiable. As the above post mentions, the article on Peopleahead was simply blatant advertising. Unlike the other two sites you mentioned on my talk page (that described the companies), the Peopleahead article was written to promote the company (more along the lines of "Here are the services we can provide you, the reader..."). Wikipedia is not an advertising tool, so the tone of the entire article was inappropriate.
As for a future article on Peopleahead, you would not be able to create it, as it would be an obvious conflict of interest. If the business is sufficiently notable for inclusion in an encyclopedia, someone from outside the business will eventually create the article. Doing so yourself, though, would almost definitely be viewed as an attempt to gain free advertising. GaryColemanFan (talk) 14:17, 8 May 2008 (UTC)
