People's Education Society Institute of Technology (PESIT) is an engineering college in Karnataka, India. It was granted academic autonomy in August 2007.

PESIT is located in Bangalore. The campus is located 10 km from the City Railway Station, on the Ring Road, Banashankari 3rd Stage and can be approached via Mysore Road. The college consists of four major blocks : The Administrative Building, Tech Park, the Electronics Block and the Mechanical Block. The college has indoor facilities for Basketball and Badminton. A match standard cricket ground is situated right next to the Tech Park. Other facilities include a volleyball court, football ground, a tennis court, table tennis, carrom and chess rooms. Gym facilities are also provided.

PESIT currently has over 35 doctorates on-campus[citation needed] in varied fields of specialization in the engineering departments. Various Research Fields include Image Processing, Fuzzy Logic, Unstructured Data Management, Embedded Systems, VLSI Design, Computer Simulation, Networking And Mobile Applications, Knowledge Management.[citation needed]

PESIT is well known for nurturing cultural groups that continued to thrive beyond their college days, such as Phenom, a rock band known both for their original music as well as for being the first Indian group to release their material under a Creative Commons license.
